Our "Wine Analogy"

Dear prospective client,

I have a very important question to ask you.

Who would you prefer to work with, a huge corporation that offers general services or a smaller company that offers individual, specialized, expert services?

You may or may not have heard of Overture Real Estate Services. If not, let me shed some light on "who we are". We are a local, smaller boutique style real estate brokerage that has a laser beam focus on providing clients with expert real estate knowledge, authentic customer service and an unparalleled home buying and/or selling experience that you will talk about.

Our individualistic style of service, partnered with our unmatched industry knowledge is sometimes hard to find when dealing with the bigger companies. Let me explain.

Take for example...wine. Let's say you wanted to purchase a nice bottle of red wine for a special occasion but you don't know a lot about wine. You have a couple of options. You could head over to the supermarket or the local wine shop.

Example #1: At the supermarket, you can find a nice bottle of red wine. However you may receive limited advice and guidance from the stock boy or even the store manager who might know a little bit about wine. In the end, you choose a bottle and move on, wondering if you overpaid and hoping you made the best decision.

Example #2: At the wine shop, you may see the exact same bottles of wine for sale, however the owner of the wine shop (an industry expert) walks from around the counter and greets you and asks how he may be of assistance. He asks you questions not asked previously and gives you advice that simply wasn't available at the supermarket. He steers you towards the "perfect" bottle of wine based on your likes, dislikes and budget. You make your purchase and on the way to your special occasion, you smile because you KNOW that you made the right decision.

As you can see, bigger is not necessarily better.

Your home purchase or sale is simply too big of a deal to trust anyone who is not a proven expert.
